I did a 12 day-on land Turkey tour! Overall, it's a great experience, knowledgeable guide Mustafa, good hotels and the food was great in some hotels! I was expecting a bus full of 20-40 aged people but there were mostly 40+ to 75 year olds and couples. So it was a bit disappointing in that aspect and I understand that it can change for other dates! I just got unlucky! Pamukkale location was very short.. couldn't explore or go for a swim there! If you want to see Cappadocia and do a balloon ride, definitely extend your stay. The tour stay is very short and you may not be able to do balloon ride if it's windy. Will recommend this trip as an overall pacakge 🙂 Best regards, Ash (candid chaser photography)

Loved every minute of this Turkey by Land tour! Nothing short of amazing!! We had the most knowledgeable, organised and hilarious guide (Mustafa) who looked after the group well, and an awesome group of people to share this experience with. The sights in Turkey are breathtaking everywhere you go…here are a few of my fave snaps!

Wow! What an incredible time we have had in Turkey. Mustafa was a fantastic tour guide - so knowledgeable with his informaaaation & provided great entertainment. We appreciated his humour & the way he so generously helped us with anything we needed. We enjoyed our opportunities to try local foods & immerse ourselves in the culture. Our visit to Gallipoli, the 3 night sail & hot air balloon ride were definite highlights - highly recommend!

The "Best of Balkans" trip was an incredible experience, thanks to the amazing places we visited, the delicious food, the rich culture, and the excellent organization. However, 50% of the credit goes to our guide, Vojin Muncan, for his exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm. His daily updates, recommendations, and organizing abilities were outstanding. We were always on time, and Vojin's punctuality was impeccable, appearing right on the dot. Overall, the tour was well-planned, and I highly recommend this tour company for an unforgettable adventure.

I have just experienced my worst travel experience ever. I was at the arrival hall at 3 p.m., but the shuttle did not come at all. After the tour ended, I complained about it, and they replied that the shuttle was scheduled for pick-up at 3 PM. I know that the shuttle departed at 3 p.m., but where was the shuttle? I was later told by one of the representatives that the shuttle was not arranged as I did not send my flight details. But in fact, one of the representative has confirmed to me on WhatsApp that they have received my details and they have contacted the local operator. They did not admit that and only offered me some compensation as a 'gesture of good wills,' which is far less than what I paid for the taxi to the hotel. In addition, the tour guide often changed the iternary without our consent. We did not do the city tour on the last day, the Anuradhapura tour, and the bicycle tour. Although they promised me that if there are any services that were not used, they would be happy to review and process a refund for those. However, they just ignored my email after I made a complaint. I broke my hand and my back as a result of the guide's reckless actions, but again, no apologies have ever been made by Traveltalk.

Travel talk Balkans is amazing. While there was a lot of travelling we saw heaps and the bus was very comfortable. Voijn was very knowledgeable and helpful. The best guide I have ever met for organisation, personality and knowledge. The food was amazing and very good value for money. Every day felt like the best day. Sarajevo blew my mind with the history of the aggression there (our guide lived through it). No harassment to buy in the souk (or anywhere). Every view of Kotor was a postcard. Trebinje was a mini Dubrovnik. Lake Ohrid was stunning with St Naum monastery a beautiful bonus. Hotels were all great. Photos to follow. I’m still on this tour and on my way to Greece tomorrow

All About Balkans Tour, May 2024. Though the guide and driver were wonderful, the group was too large, and the itinerary was too ambitious, both of which made for an absolutely horrible experience. First, I always filter for small group tours, so why did this trip come up as an option? Our group (based on departure date) had 73 guests! That's not a small group. They had to hire 2 full size buses. Our bus alone had 42 guests, which made for absolute mayhem every time we tried to disembark or check into a hotel, especially if both buses are staying at the same hotel. Mayhem. Because our group was so large, we were often in a hotel far away from the city center. (side note: do not take this trip during Orthodox Easter. EVERYTHING is closed, including the hotel bar and restaurant. I had to walk a mile to a gas station to get some snacks for dinner.) The hotels often have only one elevator, which made for looooong waits to try to get up to one's room. The itinerary is way too ambitious meaning that you will be spending 5, 6, 7, even 8 hours a day in the bus. You will spend only 1 night in each hotel, except for the 2 nights in Trebinje that allow for the day trip to Dubrovnik. This means you will be arriving late, waiting a very long time to get to your room, then having to rush to check out the next morning. I couldn't wait for this trip to be over.

A great week and an incredible way to discover a beautiful country. Mario was kind, friendly and knowledgeable, the boat was very clean, and an amazing vessel to tour the country.

We just got back from 12 days Balkan and Greece tour and it is the first time using this tour group. Everything was expectational, bus, tour guide Simon and driver Kris. They both are very friendly and helpful and made friendship with every body. Both of them are very approachable and Simon is loaded with history and stories. Luckily we had an awesome group and within days we were able to create a friendship. Hotels all are fine even though some places little far from center. But the hotel in Thessaloniki was really bad and it has only a motel standard. When we enter the room there was foul smell in the room and cupboard were smelling sweat. Luckily we had a balcony and we kept the door opened until the night and it was only okay. But a nice location and has nice view that is the only plus point. Front desk wasn't friendly. Overall the trip was awesome and I am recommending this site to all my friends.

AMAZING! The staff are very attentive and Mario has excellent knowledge of Croatia. The food has been spectacular and bar tender very helpful - Delicious cocktails.

Did the Croatia sail tour and it was AMAZING!! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The boat was so nice, the jacuzzi on the top deck was a great added bonus. Mario was great as a tour guide and helped us with any questions we had. The food on the boat was good too. Can’t wait to do another tour!

We had the best week on the Carpe Diem with Mario! It was such a dreamy boat with amazing crew. Thanks Travel Talk!!

Nuestro guía Mustafa nos preguntó qué esperábamos de nuestro viaje y si bien no tenía expectativas ante su pregunta respondí: “disfrutar los momentos, los lugares, a las personas y disfrutar de la rica comida turca”. Entonces de acuerdo a mi respuesta, cuando te permites disfrutar? Cuando todo lo demás esta cubierto; los traslados, el alojamiento, la organización, el donde comer, que hacer y cuando es mejor hacerlo y me refiero no solo lo estrictamente necesario sino todo lo demás, el cuidado por nosotros. Y así fue, gracias a todo el equipo de Travel Talk por su cálida atención y en especial a Mustafa por su profesionalismo, dedicación y estar preocupado de nuestras necesidades. Buenos hoteles, muy buena organización de las actividades a realizar que te dan confianza desde el primer día y me permitieron disfrutar estos 12 días de Tur. Ven a Turquía y disfruta de las maravillas que ofrece junto a Travel Talk.

This was my second tour with Travel Talk (1st was to the Balkans) and they both were amazing! I love the balance between planned activities and free time to explore on your own. Everything was well coordinated and the hotels and God were great! Our guide Mustafa used Whatsapp to send us all of the information about what we would see including pictures of the places we'd visit so we knew what to expect. He also did an excellent job providing information about the various sites we visited. Mustafa is one of the best tour guides I've traveled with. Overall, it was an absolutely amazing experience and I'm already looking to see where I can go next with Travel Talk.

My friend and I took the Best of Turkey by Land tour and it was a wonderful experience! We explored places we wouldn’t have been to if we had planned the trip ourselves. The highlights for me were the Ephesus ancient city tour and the three days we spent in Fethiye which included watching cute turtles at İztuzu beach and paragliding in Ölüdeniz. The tour was well organized, and our guide Mustafa was funny and helpful! We would consider booking with travel talk again.

12 day Turkey tour - Our wonderful guide Mustafa made this experience exceptional. He added depth with his rich knowledge about the Turkish history, he’s an intricate storyteller and has a great sense of humor. Consistently catering to his group, sending detailed itinerary with suggested tips, he went above and beyond for us and for that I’m grateful! His efforts did not go unnoticed, thank you Musti!

The 9 day Balkan tour was amazing. The itinerary was well thought, selection of hotel was great. Our tour guide Dusan was really great guy.

Great value for money to travel so many countries in a short amount of time. Kind of like a hidden gem in Europe.

I have just completed the Balkans Tour with Traveltalk I would like to share my experience: The itinerary was well designed with 5 days in Romania /Bulgaria and 12 days covering 8 other countries. Information is well provided upfront and for each everyday of the entire tour. The local tour guides are knowledgeable and pleasant. Hotels are well chosen. The buses are clean and the bus drivers are well presented who also made us feel safe on the roads. I would like to praise the work from Crina for her caring, guiding and sharing her cultural stories that enrich our knowledge. I would like to particularly mention Simon for his work ethic, his willingness to help, his sense of humour. Simon has gone over and above to ensure we all have a memorable trip. Three friends and I enjoyed a spectacular tour with Yildiray as our guide! We chose Amazing Turkey by Land (10 days) and it was perfect. A great way to see a huge country from the safety and comfort of the tour bus. As New Zealanders we were grateful to visit Gallipoli. Our highlight sites were Cappadocia and Ephesus, but the best highlight of all was having Yil guide us. His enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of fun made our trip!
